When you use the CoolEase app and connected device, we may automatically collect:

• Thermal and temperature data captured by the CoolEase device
• Device usage patterns (cooling sessions, duration, intensity settings)
• Mobile device identifiers (device ID, operating system, app version)
• IP address and approximate location (country/region level only)
• Crash reports and diagnostic information to improve app stability

1.3 Health-Related Data

The CoolEase app may collect physiological data including skin temperature readings and related biometric signals. This data is used solely to deliver and personalize the CoolEase experience and is never sold to third parties. You may choose to sync this data with Apple Health or Google Fit; such syncing is entirely optional and governed by those platforms' own privacy policies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the CoolEase app and connected device
• Personalize your thermal management experience and deliver adaptive cooling recommendations
• Respond to your support requests and communications
• Send you important updates about the app, product safety, or policy changes (you may opt out of non-essential communications at any time)

• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use your data to serve third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to any third party.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: Trusted vendors who help us operate the app (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, customer support tools) are contractually bound to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Thermal session data is retained for a maximum of 24 months to support trend analysis features within the app. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

Anonymized, aggregated data (which cannot identify you) may be retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include:
